This was the best interview experience I've had while searching for an internship. The recruiter, Jenna, was really professional, friendly, and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout. The pair-programming interview was also awesome. Even without prior Angular.js experience, my partner, Matt, explained and guided me through the concepts clearly for the first 20 minutes. He was a great teacher and encouraged me when I was nervous, boosting my confidence and assuring me not to worry about making mistakes. Overall, the experience was amazing, showing how RigUp sees the best in candidates. It feels like working at RigUp would be wonderful, making it a tough choice to intern elsewhere for my career goals. I'd recommend RigUp to anyone looking for a promising, well-established startup.

I applied on the Workrise website. About a week later, I got a Hackerrank link with 4 questions and 65 minutes to complete it. After finishing the Hackerrank, I had a one-hour call with the internship program supervisor to go over my resume and experiences. Then, I got the offer a week after that.

They reached out via email. There were two interview rounds, each lasting an hour. They also gave me a take-home assessment to program a simple API that takes in data to crunch some arithmetic and then returns the data. This took about 10 hours. Unfortunately, I was rejected a couple of hours after they confirmed receiving my submission, without any feedback, even though the API did everything asked.

- They will tell you they prefer to send you home to make an app, but I would not advise selecting this route.
