MSP Coordinator
It was a pretty smooth process. It took three interviews to get an offer. I initially went through a staffing agency. Everything was going fine until new management came in and then let go of everyone on the team.
- Are you proficient with Excel?
Program Manager
Recruiting and interview process was poor. Questions were asked out of order which impacted offer timelines. I was told they wanted to extend an offer, and we reconfirmed salary requirements. Recruiter offered the role at a lower salary, and I was put off by her reaction when I asked for a day to think about it. She was going to lie to the team that I wanted a day to assess the offer. After I made a counter offer, they rescinded the offer completely. It was obvious the recruiter messed up and didn't set correct expectations with me or the hiring team on salary. The hiring manager tried to determine my age by focusing on my college graduation date, which wasn't on my resume. Overall, their recruiting and interview process is lacking.
- What year did you graduate college?
Client Services Consultant
I talked to a recruiter who was super helpful. She cared about both me and the company. I learned a lot about the company and the job. She called me the next day to set up an interview with the hiring manager. My first real interview was a phone call, and then I met the hiring manager and someone else in person. I liked everyone I met. The recruiter got back to me fast after the interview. They ended up hiring someone else, but I really liked working with the recruiter. She felt like a partner during the whole thing. She’d chat with me a lot before each interview, make sure I was prepared, and answer all my questions. I’d love to work there if the job opens up again.
- Can you share an example of your best day at work and your worst day?
Client Services Coordinator
We started with a quick call with the recruiter who does hiring for the company. If that went well, the next step was a meeting with the hiring manager. Finally, after the manager interview, there was another phone call with the Regional Director.
