First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ricoma International.
Sales Executive
The interview was in-person at their office. I was greeted at reception, then a sales manager conducted the interview. We talked about my past sales experience, my communication skills, and my goal orientation. It was about 45 minutes and pretty structured.
- Where do you see yourself in five years?
Help Desk Support
It was an easy video call. The manager was ok. They train you on the machine, you just need good customer service skills. Be personable. They offered around 18 dollars an hour, for a shift from 12pm - 9pm.
- How and when do you deal with difficult people and customers?
Copywriter
Had a video chat, then they asked for some writing samples. After they checked those out, they wanted me to do some free work for a real marketing campaign they're running. I normally get paid for that kind of thing. I sent it over, and then they just went radio silent for a week. I had to chase them for an update. Turns out they went with someone else, no reason given. Thanks for the free content, I guess!
- What makes you interested in a full-time role?
Technical Services Manager
I had a recruiter phone interview, then an in-person interview, and then a panel interview. Overall, it felt good, I'd recommend being prepared. Know a bit about the company and their products, and engage with the questions.
- Can you share your experiences and explain how they've shaped your abilities?
