During the interview, they really want to check out your wine knowledge because you'll be talking to customers about all the different types and styles of wine. Also, since there's a restaurant, they'll ask if you're okay with helping to bring food out when it gets busy and if you can handle taking orders from guests.

The interview process at this company, which I was really excited about, was unfortunately quite disappointing. It began with a phone interview, followed by a video call. Then, they asked me to complete a project to assess my design skills. This project was quite extensive and took a significant amount of time. After I submitted it, they acknowledged receipt and mentioned they'd respond the following week as they were waiting for other candidates' projects. The next week passed with no word. I followed up via email, and received no response. The week after, I sent another email, just in case the first was missed, and even included the marketing manager's email, but still heard nothing. I felt all that effort was for naught, especially since they didn't even bother to inform me of their decision, effectively ghosting me. It left a very negative impression.

The interview involved some very personal questions that seemed to go against state laws, like asking about my religion, marital status, and my parents' jobs. They also wanted me to do some unpaid training and work before they'd decide anything. The office itself was nice, but the personal questions felt really out of line, and it seemed like they might have been influenced by Catholic beliefs.

The interview process was pretty standard. It felt a bit unorganized and kind of messy. Overall, it was neither good nor bad, just neutral. I wouldn't rate it highly or poorly, just neutral.
