Hostess
The interview process was pretty straightforward. The manager was friendly and kept things informal. I arrived during a less busy mid-afternoon period, and we had our conversation while seated at an unoccupied table.
- Could you describe your availability?
- Are you able to work on weekends?
Assistant Store Manager
The whole process was really long, it took about 3 months. I heard that someone else from my store who applied for an MIT program had to wait over a year to get their answer.
- Tell me about your typical management experiences.
Host
It was really easy. I just got asked some scenario and personality questions. It wasn't very long. They also asked me about my availability for hours. After that, I came back for orientation another day where I signed all the tax stuff and got my training manual, which I'll be tested on after training.
- Tell me why you think you'd be a good fit.
- What would you do if you were in a situation like this?
- Can you share an instance where you experienced stress and managed to overcome it?

There was one interview, which was a simple chat about work experience and overall capabilities in a restaurant venue. It was low formality and super casual overall. The online math quiz was the worst part, though, it was used like a pre-screen but it’s totally ridiculous.
- How many years have you been serving?
