First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Reyes Beverage Group.
Sales Associate
It wasn't too bad, just make sure you really know your stuff beforehand and have some questions ready. Also, be sure you know the beverages associated with Reyes. Other than that, it was a pretty straightforward interview process.
- Imagine you're opening a bar with three draft beers. What would you choose to serve, and what's your reasoning behind those choices?
Human Resources
The process was pretty straightforward. I made it to 3 interviews, one screening, one with the manager, and one being two other people interviewing me. Everyone was very kind and we had great conversation. It was a time consuming process, but I understand the need to really get to know someone. I didn’t end up being the right fit, which is okay but I was told I would either receive “next steps if moving forward or detailed feedback if not selected” but I received neither. I followed up on the feedback and was ghosted. Up until that point it was a great process. I just received a copy/paste rejection that was filled in with my name. After spending hours speaking with people, it is upsetting to not receive a call or even a personalized email.
- Can you walk me through your resume?
Payroll Specialist
I had a phone call screening with the recruiter. She didn't call me, so I emailed her the next day to follow up. She said the call didn't go through, so we rescheduled for the next day. We talked and I said I was interested in the role, but I didn't get a response back. It was very unprofessional that I had to reach out to reschedule and that she ghosted me afterwards. I get that they have a lot of candidates, but it would have been respectful to follow up, especially after not following up the first time the call didn't go through.
- What are your 5-year career goals?
HR Coordinator
Applied on LinkedIn and got an email to pick a time for a recruiter screen. I picked a time, but on the day of, they rescheduled it for the next week with only 5 minutes notice and at a time I didn't even pick. It was weird they didn't apologize for the last minute change. The screen happened the next week and was pretty standard. The recruiter was nice, gave some info, and asked basic questions about my interest and background. They said they'd let me know about next steps. I followed up a week later and got ghosted. No response for weeks. Almost a month after the screen, I got a generic rejection email from the 'recruitment team,' not the person I spoke to. It felt rude and impersonal to reject someone like that after a conversation and then ignore their follow-up.
