This hiring process is super long and basically turns into unpaid onboarding. You start with a screening call, then a couple of 'in-role interviews'. I had two. The first was a mapping session where you get info on a mock company, sales/marketing process choices, docs, and an example recording. Watch out, the example session doesn't follow their own rules, and the actual session might be totally different from the scenario, with different participants. The second session was supposed to be a follow-up, a 'Regular update' mock session. More docs came my way, and this is where the 'onboarding' really kicks in. This session was a mess. In the first one, the interviewers handled the improv part okay, but in the second, it seemed like they were on different pages and I wasn't sure if they were in their roles. Some questions didn't make sense, and it felt like a weird stress test instead of checking preparation and presentation. Plus, a lot of their 'feedback' related to the scenario, like they had no clue what they sent candidates. What was wild is after talking about a 'personalized approach,' I got a copy-pasted rejection email. Makes sense they've had this position open for months. I think the team is all over the place on who they're looking for. Big red flag. Honestly, not worth your time.

The first interview was fine. The second round was a mock meeting that went from beginning to end. The managers cared more about your HubSpot knowledge than if you were a personality/culture fit. You have 25 minutes to run a mock meeting from the start, and then 5 minutes for feedback where you rate yourself and they give you a rating. The good part is they offer you another chance to come back and have another mock meeting. From there, it's up to you to know HubSpot and all the tricks they might throw at you in the mock meeting.

4 Steps in general - starting with Recuirter, which went really well and showed great potential. Then the latter one was a simulation of what the role would look like. After that say said that there will be a second trial, and then another simulation with the team progressing on what was drawn first. The simulation is a great approach to give the company and people an early chance of how would the work be. But given to the fact that i write >70WPM, i still managed to fall behind on the speed of what they used to explain their simulation of the process. Some answers they give is a bit vague, makes one wonder during the interview. The feedback they gave at the end failed to be real direct, instead vague about not being detailed enough, given the time we had (30 min) No response after that interview.

The interview process was one of the best I've ever completed. It was organized, thought provoking, and they actually put you in a scenario related to what you'll be doing on the job. I ended up not taking the job, but I thought that the process was really smooth and indicative of how the company itself is likely ran.
