I went through 3 interviews and had to complete a take-home assignment for the Partnerships Manager role. The people I met with, Jeannette, Bailey, and Matt, were great and really made me want to join their team. They gave me a good feel for the healthy, friendly, and productive work environment, highlighting good work/life balance. They seemed like genuine people. While I interviewed with other companies, this team and company stood out the most, and I would have been happier here. I declined the offer because of a higher salary offer elsewhere, which was my priority for my family. If it were just for me, I'd definitely want to work here. Whoever gets this Partnerships Manager position is very lucky, and I'll be thinking about it!

The interview was in three parts. First, an asynchronous quiz to check your SAT reading, writing, and math skills. Second, a demo where you teach two questions using free software, plus some teaching methodology questions. Third, questions about your past work history, favorite/least favorite jobs, etc. They wasted my time with all three interviews. The pay is also disingenuous; it's advertised as $25/hr but you only get minimum wage when not working with students. I asked for feedback but got a vague answer. Don't bother applying.

The interview process for the Faculty Operations Coordinator role was mostly decent, with the manager and most VPs being great. However, one VP asked inappropriate and irrelevant questions, making the experience difficult. The process involved four rounds, with sudden scheduling demands, and I had to accommodate everyone's availability. Although I wasn't offered the role, the prospect of working with that particular VP was a concern. It seems like a passionate company otherwise. Strangely, I found out about not getting the job through multiple job board repostings before receiving an official email, which felt peculiar.

I first spoke with a recruiter at a career fair, then applied online and got a call the next day for a one-on-one Skype interview. They asked standard questions about my resume and strengths. A second Skype interview was set for the next week, involving two role-playing scenarios: selling the product to B2C customers and then to B2B clients. I had to reschedule this second interview because it clashed with my mid-term exams. I left a voicemail for the second interviewer, but they never called back. The remaining parts of the interview process would have included a call with a current new hire and a visit to the corporate office in Santa Monica, CA. I found the recruiter's lack of a returned call and no follow-up unprofessional.
