Strategy and Operations Manager
The hiring process at Revolut is quite structured and convenient for candidates. After the CV review, the first step is a Screen Call with HR where they explain the entire process and next steps, also serving as the initial contact person. Then there's an online test, followed by role-focused interviews with team members. I had a Problem Solving interview, which was reasonable and aimed at assessing my thinking and problem-approach skills; the environment was friendly, and the interviewer was open to questions. Next, I had a Team Fit interview with the team leader, focusing more on personal fit, background, and motivations, with room for questions. Although it seemed finalized, there was an internal shift, and the position in that team went to someone else. However, the process was managed well: I repeated the Team Fit interview with another team and eventually got an offer for it. Overall, HR and interviewers were accessible and friendly, and the process is clear and logical. Personally, aside from that 'misunderstanding,' it was great. Regarding timing, they mentioned it usually takes 2-4 weeks, but mine stretched to about 10 weeks, which was sometimes tough and left me unsure of my status. Overall, a positive and professional experience, with room for operational improvement.

Strategy Manager
The interview for the Strategy and Operations Manager role had two main parts. First was an initial screening with the hiring manager, where we talked about my strategy and operations background, how I manage teams, and my experience with big operational issues. They also asked behavioral and situational questions to see my leadership and problem-solving abilities. The main part was the case study, which was about managing an airport. I got a situation where an airport was super crowded during busy times and had operational problems. I had to figure out why it was happening, suggest ways to make things faster and better for passengers, and explain how I'd choose what to do first, work with people, and check if my ideas worked. I broke down the problem, looked at what might be causing it, and suggested a mix of fixing processes, using new tech, and working better with others. They asked follow-up questions about my thinking and how I'd actually do it. It was a thorough process to check my strategic thinking and how I handle tough operational stuff.
- How would you approach solving the problem of an airport delay management situation?
