Technical Other

Applied and immediately routed into a timed IQ-style assessment (speed arithmetic + pattern/shape recognition). No job-relevant evaluation followed: no compliance scenarios, no risk-based discussion, no writing task, no structured interview about actual responsibilities. It was a blunt filtering machine that treated candidates as disposable inputs, not professionals. It was demeaning, misaligned with the role, and made me lose trust in the company’s judgement and culture. If this is how the company evaluates people, it raises serious concerns about how it evaluates risk, makes decisions, and treats employees.

  • Was a timed cognitive/IQ-style test (speed calculations and pattern recognition) completed before any conversation about the role?

Case Behavioral

First, there's a recruiting call for a quick intro about your background, motivation, and availability. Then, you'll do a technical/case test with case studies, problem-solving tasks, or take-home assignments, mainly focused on new product launches. After that, a case interview with operational scenarios and compliance/risk cases, involving system design and problem-solving. Lastly, a cultural fit interview. All stages use the STAR method and MECE issue trees, focusing on ownership, ambition, adaptability, and working under pressure. Finally, an offer stage. Feedback is usually quick, taking about 3-4 weeks on average, with 4-5 stages total.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Got approached by their in-house recruitment team, then went through a 6 or 7 stage interview process with different managers who seemed really interested in who Revolut was considering hiring. It felt like they were looking for talent in general, not necessarily for the specific role I applied for. I made it to the final interview, but then found out the role had been reclassified and the pay was 30% less than advertised. Total waste of time, and I also got a gut feeling that there might be issues with the culture there.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Can you share an example of your general competencies?
  • How have you handled compliance matters relevant to today's business environment?
  • What are your thoughts on tackling current business challenges from a compliance perspective?
