Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Revolut.
Sales Executive
The interview process was thorough, starting with a recruiter screening call. Then I met with a team member and the hiring manager. It ended with a presentation before they made the final hiring decision.
- Can you share your experience with products that use APIs or integrations?
Account Executive
The interview process involved a screen interview and a cultural interview. The cultural interview, which was meant to be brief (max 15 minutes) with the sales director, turned out to be quite disappointing. The director asked only two questions and offered minimal engagement, responding with just 'alright' to my answers. This experience was a poor representation of Revolut, and frankly, it made me decide against working there. The director's unprofessional and disengaged demeanor was concerning, especially considering their management role.
- Can you discuss your experience with KPIs?
- Could you describe your prospecting skills and experience?
- What is your general experience in this field?
Account Executive
I got contacted on Linkedin for an interview. First, there was a 15-minute screen call. Then, I moved to the second interview, which was supposed to be a cultural fit interview. The hiring guide said it would be 45 minutes, but the invite said 30 minutes, and when we started, the manager said we only had 15 minutes. She asked me to introduce myself quickly, asked 3 questions, introduced herself and the job, and I got to ask 2 questions. It felt too fast for a cultural fit. The manager was professional and respectful, despite having a poker face the whole time. You could tell she was good at her job and had strong work ethics. Overall, the experience was okay. They were very transparent about salary, workload, etc., from the beginning.
- Could you describe a time you encountered a change?
- What's your process for preparing for a negotiation that requires your signature?
- Can you give me a brief introduction of yourself?
