So we have 2 interviews and then a presentation. First up is a recruiter call, then a manager interview. If those go well, they send a coding challenge and some questions. After that, there's another set of interviews, and then a final PowerPoint presentation.

Behavioral Presentation

This interview had a few stages, but honestly, a lot of it felt like unnecessary filler. The main focus was on my past experience and the projects I've handled. They asked competency-based questions, similar to what's listed below. I think a presentation was also expected. A strange part was the inconsistent salary information I received from different people.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The process was awful. I got beyond the initial stage of consideration and was lead to believe that I was close to landing the job. Then my main contact with the company postponed an interview based on vague claims that she wasn't 'feeling well'. Later, she suddenly and surprisingly turned sour towards my candidacy which, of course, can happen. But her stated reasons for changing her tune made absolutely no sense. Apparently, she was unhappy because of problems with a headset that I used to connect to a web conference. I understand the importance of testing your equipment but even if you do, problems can still happen. Did she notice that sometimes there are technical difficulties with television broadcasts while TV producers make millions of dollars a year to not have such difficulties? Her other complaint was that I got lost in the middle of a PowerPoint presentation in which I accidently advanced to the next slide before I meant to. Her stated reasons for kicking me out of the program are really idiotic. I understand the importance of having good web conferences but come on! The difficulties that I had could have been solved in about five minutes. Instead, she ran me out of the program. And this was coming from someone who postponed a meeting for really childish reasons. Revolent gets no stars from me. The management at Revolent must be really incompetent to allow someone so lacking in decency and common sense to hold a senior position.

It felt like a trap and a major waste of time. If you're actually looking for a partner to grow with who sees you as a person and not just a way to make money, look somewhere else. They kept asking about how committed I was and would hint at the contract's retention clause. Also, check the dates on their Glassdoor reviews, they're all bunched up strangely. The process included: 1. A 30 min phone chat. 2. A test on HTML and CSS. 3. Another 45 min phone chat. 4. I had to sign up for Trailhead and do more than 20 hours of online courses. 5. A presentation. 6. A final interview.
