First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ReVision Energy.
Recruiter
The interview process was well organized and the HR team was very responsive. Communication was excellent and I got timely updates. The whole process took about 3 weeks due to scheduling, which was still pretty reasonable. Their application portal was easy to use, and I heard back soon after applying. Their values, mission, vision, and company culture were part of the interview process.
- What is your reason for being interested in this role/company?
Helpdesk Technician
The HR person was really good at keeping me in the loop. The first call was pretty typical, asking about my tech abilities and how I'd deal with tough scenarios. Then I had a second interview over Teams with the two Sys Admins. Overall, I felt it went pretty well. They wanted to know more about my tech experience and why I applied to Revision. Just a heads-up, though: one of them was in a dark room, which was kind of distracting during the interview.
- Can you rate your network skills?
Solar Advisor
I applied online and a sales manager called me the next day. We had a good chat and scheduled an in-person interview. I was really looking forward to it, especially since it's in green energy. But the in-person interview felt more like a vibe check to see if I'd fit in with the group rather than assessing my actual job skills. I left feeling good, but after almost two weeks of no word and seeing the job reposted, I followed up. The sales manager gave me a standard HR rejection, saying it was tough and they had lots of applicants. It felt like they had already picked someone during our chat. I get that they can hire whoever they want, but they should stick to their core values. For example, 'Humanity' means treating people with respect, which I didn't feel. 'Learning' means providing guidance for growth, which I didn't get. 'Passion' means aspiring for excellence, not fitting into a clique. 'Communication' means being honest and clear, not giving the appearance of dishonesty. And 'Stewardship' means protecting nature and valuing diversity, even in thought.
- What motivates your interest in this company?
Sales
The recruiter I worked with - Kat, was very professional and provided all the details that I needed when needed. She was available via text and phone for any questions. The company exercises a high degree of transparency in its operations, and that was readily apparent in the recruitment process, from screening to 2nd interview to follow-up. Kat reached out personally with a phone call to kindly inform me that they had selected another candidate. To me, this was very much an appreciated and refreshing gesture in a world of 'black hole' resume submissions and automated 'do not reply' rejection messages.
- Can you share your three biggest achievements?
