First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ReversingLabs.
Customer Success Engineer
I interviewed with a few different people from different teams. They kept me updated on what was next for each step until I got the offer. It made starting and getting hired feel really smooth. I liked that they made sure to give me enough time to ask my own questions too, to see if it was a good fit for both me and them.
- Can you discuss your past work experience?
- Describe how you would manage specific scenarios.
- What is your technical knowledge concerning RL's products?
Product Manager
The interview journey was quite thorough, involving several key people from different departments. It wasn't a fast process, but I liked that RL wanted to make sure it was a good match for both of us. They really encouraged me to ask tons of questions so I could get a clear picture of the role. I got updates on where things stood and what was next, and all the interviews were online.
- I don't recall the exact questions asked, but the conversations were more about general situations and my experiences.
- The interviews felt more like casual chats and scenario-based discussions rather than focusing on specific technical knowledge.
Sales Development Representative
The interview process at Reversing Labs moved really fast, which I thought was a good sign because I was really eager to get started. I had 4 rounds of interviews. My final interview was supposed to be 30 minutes, but the interviewer and I ended up talking for a full hour. At the very end, he gave me his phone number in case I had any more questions. I didn't get the job and was a bit confused because I've never been given an interviewer's phone number before.
- Can you share an instance where you made a mistake with an order or a sale that was entirely your responsibility?
Quality Assurance
The interviewers seemed friendly, but the overall atmosphere felt strange. It seemed like HR is in charge and they mandate weekly performance reviews for managers. My impression was that there's a culture of fear, with managers projecting that onto their teams. The employees appeared to be young and submissive. This gave me a master-slave dynamic vibe, and I wouldn't have accepted an offer. While I understand young employees need guidance, this felt excessive and detrimental to creativity.
- How would you contribute to the company?
- What motivated you to apply for this role?
- Could you describe your experience level?
