First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Rev.io.
Sales Development Representative
The first round was a phone call. The second round was an in-person Zoom call with the Director of Sales. The third round was an in-person interview with the VP of Sales, who was still unsure about me. I did a fourth round which ultimately landed me the job. They asked pretty basic questions and really just wanted to get to know me.
- Tell me about a time you learned something new.
HR Specialist
I went through 6 rounds of interviews for this HR role, which felt excessive since it was an individual contributor position. It seemed like they were interviewing for a CEO role. After all that, including the final 6th interview, I got a generic rejection email right away. What was also unprofessional was the CFO's negative comments about the previous 4 HR people during the interviews. Overall, it was a really bad interview experience.
- Can you share an instance where you demonstrated innovation in your professional life?
Database Engineer
I was referred to this position and someone from the company reached out to me for an interview. It all happened really fast and they told me they were a growing company and hiring. I went to the interview and it went really good and I was told I would receive a assessment to take at home. Never received a assessment or heard anything from anybody after my interview. Not even a thank you for coming to the interview but we choose someone else for the position. I followed up and still never heard anything back. Interview process was unprofessional and terrible communication.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
Software Support Engineer
It was pretty easy, mostly behavioral stuff, but you should know your SQL joins and be ready to write some queries. Towards the end, I had to complete a short form with two questions. It involved two tables and I was asked to join them optimally. If you've had a database class, you should be okay.
- Can you share an instance where you delivered excellent outcomes?
- How would you best join these two tables?
