First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at RETTEW.
Civil Engineer
The interview process involved two rounds of interviews. It was a really relaxed and nice conversation with everyone on the team. They made a point to ensure you felt comfortable. The second interview happened about a week after the first one.
- What motivated your decision to pursue civil engineering?
Senior Software Engineer
I first got contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn. They set up a phone interview with Jeff Case. After that phone interview went well, we scheduled an in-person interview. The in-person interview was pretty relaxed and went well.
- Can you tell me about your past work experience?
Bookkeeper
I interviewed with the controller and my direct supervisor for the first round. The second round included them, plus the department head and some other team members. Everyone was down to earth and at ease, yet professional. The whole process took about 2.5 months, but I always knew where things stood. I really appreciated how thorough and communicative they were.
- Could you tell me three words that describe your strengths?
- Can you share three words that describe your weaknesses?
- From the list of job duties, which one do you feel would present the most challenge for you?
Civil Engineer
They took me out for breakfast. It was casual and professional. Both interviews were laid back and genuine. They reviewed my skills and asked about past projects from my last company. I got an offer the day after.
- Are you willing to take a step back?
