I had a phone chat with the Rehab Director. Then, I interviewed with the Physical Therapist over the phone. They asked about my previous work and jobs. I learned there were other applicants and that I'd asked for the highest salary. I asked if anyone had my specific experience and expertise. They mentioned they had 3 recent graduates applying. I told them they'd need me to train them. I was on a 13-week travel assignment, and they held the position for me, using PRN therapists until I could start. This has been the best assignment in my 20 years of experience. If I can stop criticizing management, I'd stay here forever.

After submitting my online application, a recruiter reached out. We had a phone interview, which then led to an in-person interview at the facility. This included a tour and a one-on-one meeting with the Rehab Director. Following these interviews, the recruiter contacted me with a job offer.

It was an average interview experience, with the usual questions. The interviewers were nice and the interview didn't take too long. I did feel like they might have been biased if you had a previous career before applying for this job. Nobody said anything, but their body language suggested it.

Since I'm not local, the whole interview happened over the phone. First, there was a basic chat about my practicum experiences and my reasons for applying to this company. After that, I had another interview with the rehab director.
