Sales
The interviewers were really knowledgeable and focused on the customer experience, emphasizing that customers are the most valuable asset. I really liked this core value.
- Could you sell me this pen?
Marketing Associate
I talked to three different people for about 40 minutes. They asked some really good questions. It felt like they mostly cared about who I am as a person and if I could get a lot of work done. They really emphasized needing someone proactive, who doesn't need to be babysat.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience?
- How good are you at getting work done?
- Are you someone who takes initiative?
Marketing Coordinator
This was one of the worst interview experiences I've had. They used a poorly executed good cop bad cop routine. When I asked about the specifics of the position, like responsibilities, neither interviewer could give clear answers, saying it was a 'learn as you go' kind of job with no real details on duties. The interviewers were also condescending and tried to downplay my previous marketing experience. At the same time, they wanted to know sensitive information about marketing techniques I used at a prior company. When I told them I couldn't share that due to an NDA, they tried using weak scare tactics to get the information. It was seriously unprofessional and a waste of my time.
- Tell me about your social media experience.
