I got an email from Vishwa G on July 14 about the IT Support role. I applied the same day and included my rate. Then, I had a Teams interview on July 21 with the hiring manager. The next day, July 22, Vishwa G emailed me saying, "Congratulations!! You have been selected for ONSITE SUPPORT LEAD role at Redmond, WA." After that, the calls started. They twice asked me to agree to a lower pay rate than what we had initially agreed upon. Then, there was no contact from the hiring company or the recruiter for two months. I called every week to ask about onboarding, and he would say he'd call back in 30 minutes or by the end of the day, but he never did. Today, 8/23, he called and offered me 13% less than the agreed-to rate. I told him that wasn't okay and I couldn't accept it. He then hung up on me.

First, there was a telephonic interview with HR. Next, there was an in-person interview with the Account Manager. The third and final round would be with the Director. This last round is essentially an introduction, but it could still lead to rejection. This round is only scheduled after you get confirmation from the Account Manager.

First, a recruiter called and said they were submitting my profile. They assured me. But then, to highlight people with high profit margins, they didn't submit my profile. They told me not to submit through other companies. They used upper management as an excuse not to submit. The managers had no idea who was qualified for the job. It's all about lowballing people and making profits, even at the cost of your career.

  • What's the lowest rate you'll accept?
  • Would you pay us for a visa if you could get the job?
