First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Resource Environmental Solutions.
Ecological Restoration Technician
I had a great interview, and they clearly explained the job's parameters and expectations. The travel aspect and the sound environmental work proposed were appealing.
- Could you handle traveling for work?
Project Manager
First, I had a screening call with my future manager that lasted about 30-45 minutes. Then, there was an in-person lunch interview that went for 2 hours. The last part was a final interview with regional department leads where I had to give a case study presentation.
- Can you prepare and deliver a 10-minute case study presentation focused on project management?
Analyst
The interview process was thorough. I first met with the department head and then each member of the team on the first day. The second time I came in I met with the operations director and then the CEO. This company wants to ensure the right fit for the position both professionally and on a personal level. I enjoyed the process and getting to know the people that work at RES. I was not offered the position but ultimately do not think I was the right fit for what the CEO had in mind. Great people!
- What prompted you to apply to RES?
- Do you know about RES and what it does?
Ecology
The hiring process was pretty quick and straightforward. I think I heard back from them about a month after I applied. It started with a phone screen, then a video interview that lasted around 30 minutes, and I also had to submit a writing sample. We talked about my interest in the position and what the summer job would involve.
- Are you okay with doing fieldwork in hot and humid weather?
- Tell me about your interest in this role.
- What kind of work will be involved during the summer?
