It was a phone screen first, then some video interviews. The video ones could be one-on-one or with a group. They were a bit messy with scheduling everything. Also, the interviewers I spoke with weren't the friendliest.

I went through 5 rounds of interviews, and the recruiter was quick to schedule the next steps. I was supposed to have an in-person interview at their Washington DC office, but the recruiter totally ghosted me. I contacted a VP I knew the day before the supposed in-person meeting, and they managed to find the recruiter. I then got a message saying my in-person was postponed due to management changes. They promised an update within a week, but it's been 5 weeks with no news. It's surprising for a company that claims to be staff-friendly how they'd ghost top COO candidates. My overall experience was terrible, and I wouldn't suggest applying there.

The interview process was professional and pleasant, lasting approximately 4 weeks. The passion and personality of the staff made me eager to join. I had one informational interview with executives in Burlington, arranged through a referral to the CEO, and one in-person interview with staff in DC. The final interview was a typical structured interview, featuring experience-based and hypothetical questions. I met with three staff members, including the supervisor for the role.

Everyone was really nice and responded quickly. There were some long waits to get interviews scheduled though. I was treated with nothing but respect and kindness. The whole process took two months, but it was mostly scheduling that took the longest time, not waiting to hear back about the next steps.

  • Can you tell me about yourself?
