i interviewed in fall 2023. started with an HR call, then a 3-hour virtual interview that included an Excel test which was pretty easy. after that, i had a panel interview where i spoke with multiple people in 30-minute intervals. it was all men, and one person at the end was incredibly rude, mean, and condescending. it made me not want to work with those kinds of people or in that environment. they also mentioned working overtime and on weekends, which suggests a poor work-life balance. after this lengthy process, they ghosted me even though they said they'd let me know the results.
- Calculate the angle formed by the hour and minute hands on a clock.

The interview took about 4 hours. I met with consultant managers and we talked about my resume, research projects, schooling, and if I was qualified for the job. Overall, I'd suggest it but with a warning since some of the interviewers didn't seem very professional or welcoming.
- Can you explain Standard deviation to someone without a technical background?
- Given 10 black socks and 9 blue socks, what's the minimum number of socks you must draw to guarantee a pair of the same color?
- If we played Russian roulette, I spun the chambers, and survived, would you spin again or shoot the next chamber?
Consultant
It was good. It was scheduled for a 3 hour period but took about 2.5 hours. It was a remote interview, first half hour was an excel quiz - it was pretty easy, just basic stuff. Then 4 interviews back to back with 4 different directors. My interviews went pretty well so I was disappointed and surprised I wasn't offered the position:/ They got back to me in a few days.
- Can you tell me about your resume?
- Can you tell me about your experience with Excel?
- Can you tell me about your final project in your econometrics class?
