The interview process involved several levels, starting with an HR recruiter, followed by a coordinator who handles scheduling and caseload management, and concluding with a potential supervisor. The entire experience was conducted remotely and was very smooth. There were significant gaps between the scheduled interviews.

Got an initial email/LinkedIn message from a recruiter. We had some good talks, then I chatted with the hiring manager. After that, there was a technical evaluation done by an external company called Karat. This evaluation didn't go as planned and I think I failed. Didn't get any feedback from Karat or the recruiter, but at least I got an email saying I didn't get the job.

The interview experience was really uncomfortable and felt rushed. The person interviewing me kept cutting me off and didn't seem that interested in what I had to say about my background. What was really bothering me was being asked about my immigration status. Even when I said I'm legally allowed to work here and have been for a while, she kept pushing it. It felt invasive, out of line, and like discrimination. The whole vibe made me feel ignored and disrespected, and I'm now wondering about the company's values.

Got a message from a recruiter on LinkedIn and had a good chat. Then I had a 1-on-1 with the founder, which was also a nice conversation. It turned out not to be the right fit, but the recruiter was very transparent, gave prompt and good feedback. It was a pleasant surprise compared to what I usually see.
