Research International Interview Questions
& Process

The first interview was an hour long and included a translation test and a group interview. This first part had fit questions and brain teasers. Then, there was a second interview with three members of the PR team. This second interview was also a group setting with 6 people. The interviewers asked about 6 questions one after another to each person.

I had to do the numerical part of the interview process. The questions were from the SHL website, so they are the standard ones given in many selection processes.

At Research International, formal interviews aren't really a thing. It's more about who you know and word-of-mouth referrals. People showing up for what they call an 'interview' likely heard about it through informal channels. They don't really focus on gender balance in the department, which seems to be composed of women who have close connections with the Country Representative and the Administrator, both of whom are known to be quite womanizers.

The interview process was really good, though not unforgettable. It started off smoothly, but things became more challenging towards the end. There was a replacement situation, which put me under enormous pressure, and that's how it went.
