So it was a pretty standard interview process. I started with an email or call from HR, then I spoke with them. After that, I met with the hiring manager and maybe the team. Finally, I had a meeting with a Senior Manager or Director. I felt a good connection with the hiring manager pretty quickly, which was nice.

Digital Analyst
This is my second time applying for a position with Republic Services. The first time, a recruiter reached out after I submitted an online application. They asked about scheduling a phone interview, I replied and didn't hear back for over three weeks. She called and apologized, and we continued. I went to second-round interviews but wasn't given an offer. After waiting for over 1.5 weeks and emailing the recruiter, I got a generic rejection email. This time, the recruiter was good at scheduling the phone interview and calling on time. She said I should hear if I would continue to the next round within the next few days. I waited 48 hours like she suggested and emailed her, but got no response. The next morning, I received another generic rejection email. I understand if I don't fit what the company is looking for, but I would like some constructive feedback that could help me improve as a candidate in the future. Recruiters at Republic Services need to be more communicative and add more of a personal touch to their interactions.

Senior Analyst
The recruiter hit me up and set up an interview. It was all pretty messed up. I had a Teams interview and also an in-person one. They said they'd let me know about a decision in a few days but never did, which was super unprofessional. At least let candidates know either way. The indecisiveness was a major red flag.
