Behavioral Technical

The interview process was really well organized and straightforward. I had the usual behavioral questions with HR, then technical questions and scenarios with a current pilot. They seemed really pleased with my responses and gave me good feedback. The pilot even complimented my knowledge, which was a great feeling. In the end, I got a TBNT. It seems the hiring pipeline is really backed up and super competitive right now, especially with timelines and current hours. Even though I didn't get the CJO this time, they communicated quickly and told me to apply again for the FO position when I'm closer to my ATP minimums. Overall, a very professional experience.

Behavioral Technical

The talent acquisition team's interview process was great, but my experience with the hiring manager was tough. My original onsite interview got canceled and then rescheduled as a virtual meeting. During this virtual interview, I felt like there wasn't much engagement about my contributions, and it seemed like they were just sticking to scripted questions. It gave me the impression that I was already out, and this interview was just a formality to wrap things up. I really think my skills are a perfect fit for the job description, especially with my multiple certifications from ISACA, ISC2, and CompTIA, plus decades of experience. Sadly, I felt there was a disconnect between what the job description asked for and what the hiring manager was expecting.

Behavioral Technical Coding

I had a really great initial chat with HR, they knew a lot about the company. Then I spoke with the Manager, who was very direct, professional, and clearly understood the role. The Director interview was intense, honestly bordering on hostile. Her camera was off the whole time, she barely looked at me, and then turned hers off too, even though she was in her office. She'd constantly cut me off when I was answering questions and ask about qualifications that weren't even relevant to the job. She also made assumptions that I didn't have qualifications I actually did, and I had to point them out on my resume. She cut me off again, saying I only had 2 minutes for questions because she had to run. I was interested in the role, but it felt like she was being really unfair and didn't want me for the job. It was frustrating, but I just smiled and got through it. I don't think she even read my resume or knew what the job was about based on her questions. Maybe she was unprepared or just busy, and I got caught in the middle. Anyway, I wish the next person good luck!

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was very streamlined and professional. Once you were selected from the various applicants, you would get a phone screening to verify flight time and a few other questions. After that step, you will be selected to be flown out to their facility in Indianapolis for an in person interview. Once there, you will be given a tour of the facility, have time to ask questions to several of the pilots, and get an overall summary of the company which was very helpful! You will then be called back to do the interview with a representative from HR and a Pilot. There was a combination of HR and technical questions, however, everyone was incredibly professional and kind! It helped for a relaxed environment and a great overall experience.
