Engineer
The interview process was really unclear and communication was terrible. Honestly, it felt like a preview of what working here would be like. They never answered my calls, and I never heard back about the results or any follow-up.
- What technical experience do you have?
- Can you share your leadership experience?
- What are your salary expectations?
Biologics Assay Scientist
It was a bit challenging but good. I interviewed for a co-op position. The teams are very supportive and very kind. Just be prepared to answer questions about your experiences and make sure you know the concepts clearly in your head.
- Why would you want to join our team and what are your qualifications and how do they fit into this co-op?
- Why would I want to join the team and what my qualifications were and how they would fit into the co-op
Senior Scientist
The interview went really well. I had to give a presentation to a group of 6 people, including VPs and research associates. They were all very technical and work in a matrix environment. They asked mostly technical questions, not many about soft skills.
- What motivated you to seek this position?
Silicon Engineer
The interview process started with a phone screen that felt off, where the coordinator just read a script about the company and quickly asked questions like 'how many years experience do you have in X?' It felt really rushed. I ended up having 5 interviews total and then got ghosted. Different coordinators organized the interviews and they weren't communicating with each other, making the whole thing very disorganized. One director seemed to immediately decide against me because of my gender, even though I had all the experience listed in the job description, and then said they didn't even need that experience for the role because someone else was hired for it. It felt like they were looking for any reason to reject me, even though I was a perfect fit. In one interview, my gender was brought up, and they discussed needing more women, how women are paid less and have fewer opportunities, and the lack of women in the company. It also seemed like they micromanage. I guess I dodged a bullet.
