Thanks for the update and for investing your time throughout the interview process. To be upfront and transparent, going through 6 interview rounds is a significant investment of time, effort, and professional energy for everyone involved. Finding out at this stage that the role isn't available anymore suggests a planning or alignment issue that should have been addressed before moving candidates through such a lengthy process. I understand business priorities can change; however, better communication and confirming the requisition earlier would have shown more respect for the candidate's time and expectations. That said, I enjoyed the discussions with the team and wish you the best with your next steps. If a fully approved and aligned opportunity comes up in the future, I'd be open to talking again. Thanks again, and I wish you well. Best, Bandit

The hiring process spanned a considerable duration. However, once the interviews were arranged, the meetings themselves were brief and informal. I spoke with HR, followed by two managers. The relaxed nature of these discussions made the experience stress-free and straightforward.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with Rentokil Steritech. The whole process, from the first contact to the offer, felt like a bait and switch. I went through four interviews. First, HR said the salary was $40k-$50k. The Regional Manager interview confirmed this but mentioned it would be hourly. In the third interview, another regional manager said the range was actually $40k-$45k, with bonuses making up the difference to $50k. The Regional Director interview brought the range back to $40k-$50k. The final offer was $16.50/hour, which is only $33k/year. Surprise! The salary range they talked about wasn't based on a 40-hour week. You need to work overtime to get close to their numbers. Plus, the bonus is only "up to 10% of base salary," meaning a max of $3,300/year, for a total potential income of $36,300. You can't reach their stated pay range without excessive overtime.

Behavioral Presentation

I had a pre-screening call, then met with the hiring manager, some of my potential colleagues, and finally the head of the department. The hiring manager kept me in the loop and was happy to answer my questions. It took a bit longer than expected because it was during the summer and people were on vacation, but everything was handled professionally.
