The interview was in person. They asked straightforward questions about my experience, my availability, and if I could work weekends, overnights, and holidays. It sounded like there wasn't much flexibility once I started, which is pretty standard. Overall, it was a decent experience.

The manager was a bit intense and kept pushing me to consider other roles when they didn't like my response. I got stuck on one question and it made me feel uneasy. I really wanted to move forward. It's clear they are passionate about their jobs, which is good for them. This hotel is a very busy place and a front desk agent needs to be equipped to deal with unexpected and sometimes chaotic situations. My struggle with that one question led the manager to believe I couldn't handle the job. I had prior front desk experience, but that's just how interviews can go.
