The process starts with a Google Form for the Bootcamp. This Bootcamp is designed to train you and get you familiar with the website. You don't get paid during the training, but you have to go to all the sessions to get a badge. This badge shows you've been trained for certain projects. The more badges you have, the more projects you can take on. Once the training is done, you can start taking projects and working on them during the assigned time.

I worked for Remotasks for about 3 months. At first, things were going well, I got to work on different projects and even earned the remoreviewer badge. However, they started removing people from projects without any reason, and I was one of them. I haven't been able to do any tasks for about 4 months now. I even contacted support to find out why I was removed and if I could start working again, but I haven't heard back. They also still owe me a $25 bonus I got for passing the screening process. Frankly, I'm just really disappointed with their unprofessionalism.

The interview process involved questions on Python, pandas, NumPy, and machine learning algorithms, along with data structure and web development topics. I have completed over 5 impactful projects, including an AI project focused on training a model on real breast cancer data, and other ML projects like crop recommendation systems. These Python-based projects demonstrate my technical skills.

It was a written interview that happened online using a Google form. They shared a medium-level Codeforces problem on the Codeforces platform for me to solve. After my solution was accepted, I had to take a screenshot of the verdict and upload it to the Google form. I also had to answer questions in the form about what I understood from the problem, why I picked my solution approach, and the intuition behind it.

  • What was your understanding of the Codeforces problem?
  • Explain your choice of solution approach.
