I was first contacted by one of the field training managers for a very formal interview. It was mainly to identify my personable skills. Then, a second interview was set up with a regional manager where they asked basic questions about my past performance. The company doesn't expect you to have prior sales experience as they provide hands-on training.

Behavioral Presentation

I spoke with an external rep first, then the hiring manager who talked about kitchen and bath sales. A salesperson was supposed to call me for a ride along, but I never heard from them. I also learned that there's no car or gas allowance, I'd have to buy my own laptop/tablet, and it's straight commission with no base salary.

It was a 3 part process that included reference checks. First I interviewed with the current sales manager. Then I interviewed with the President. My third interview was with the President's business partner. After that, the reference check was completed and I got an offer.
