The whole process from setting up the interviews to the actual interviews went really well. It was mainly a set of behavioral questions focused on the company's values and my previous work history. I talked with all the people I would have been working with. It was a really good experience overall. You can definitely tell they have strong leadership and are invested in their teams' success.

I sent in my writing samples, then did a take-home SEO assessment. After that, I had a phone screen which was super weird. For 40 mins, the interviewer only gushed about my resume, my experience, and my ideas. It was more 'I love you' than questions. She said I'd 'definitely hear back' and that she was going to tell her coordinator right away to set up the next steps. She even told me what to expect when I came in. Then two days passed, then the weekend. I emailed Monday, and the coordinator said the hiring manager was out of town. Tuesday, I got a form rejection email. I thanked the coordinator and wished them well.

The interviewer cut the interview very short and seemed to know very little about the role. Their tone was unprofessional, arrogant, and haughty, lacking genuine care. They suggested I was overqualified ('negging') and failed to describe the interview process, effectively rejecting me immediately. The overall experience was disrespectful, making me feel like a piece of cattle.
