The interview process included a phone screening, a meeting with the direct manager, and three additional interviews with different people from the company. The HR team and other interviewers were generally pleasant, making it feel more like a conversation than a high-pressure interview. The questions were standard, not designed to trick or catch you off guard. There was a good amount of discussion about the company's work, the role, and your career aspirations, along with some general fit questions. Some professional questions were also asked, which were good conversation starters. The main drawback was the length of the process; six interviews spread over two months, which felt long compared to other processes where I received offers.

The interview process was pretty smooth overall. I spoke with 3 HR people, the Hiring Manager, a Senior person, and a teammate for the final loop. Although I didn't get an offer after the last stage, I still felt like I learned a lot. The final decision was communicated via a no-reply email, which I found quite disrespectful. My follow-up email asking for feedback also went unanswered.

So after a quick 15 min call with some basic stats and SQL questions, I got a take-home assignment. Then I had a screening interview with the hiring manager, which was like 3 hours long and included an analytics assignment. After that, I had a technical interview with a senior guy for about an hour and 15 mins. Then, I had to talk to the same two managers again, this time focusing on how I present stuff. They liked my analysis but wanted simpler bullet points, which was tough with the data. I guess I overcomplicated it? Anyway, they gave me good feedback and I moved to the final round, which was with the Product Marketing Manager and Director, talking about campaign strategy and A/B testing. That felt good, they agreed with me a lot. Then, a few days later, HR called. They said they really liked me and I made it through multiple rounds, but they weren't moving forward because I didn't give a 'one-way answer.' Apparently, they wanted something simpler, but as an analyst, I feel you need to look at things from different angles, especially with complex data. It's frustrating but I learned a lot and gained confidence.
