Remesh Interview Questions
& Process

The interview process included 4 main steps. First, there was an interview with the Hiring Manager. Next, I had to complete an Online Assessment where I was given sample data to do some data analysis and then present my findings using tableau. After that, there was a Virtual Coding session which was a SQL assessment. The final step was a meeting with the team.

I applied online and got an email about a week later to set up a phone interview. The VP of People interviewed me for 30 minutes and said they wanted to move fast and meet more people, even the founder. Over a week later, I got another email to set up a 30-minute phone interview with the Director of People. After that, he said I'd hear back early the next week. I felt good about my chances, but on Wednesday afternoon, I got an automated email saying I wasn't a good fit. It seemed like a cool company with good people, but the interview process and outcome didn't match what they said, and the automated email felt fake, which makes me not want to consider them again.

It was a week-long process. Started with a phone call, then a video chat, and finished with a take-home test project that needed a presentation to two interviewers. They really liked my background for the role. But after the presentation, I heard nothing back. My recruiter ignored my weekly requests for updates. After a month of silence, they even ignored my calls. Super unprofessional to say I was a unique fit and then just ghost me. I lost a day's pay from my job for that project and presentation, and missed other offers while waiting for this one. This whole experience cost me money.

The interview process was pretty standard. First, there was a call with the recruiter or director of people. Then, a call with the Engineering director. After that, I had a take-home coding challenge. Finally, the last interview included a chat with HR, a discussion about product design, and both a coding challenge and a system design problem.
