First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Remedy Intelligent Staffing.
Kit Packer
It was a fun and pretty chill interview process. I enjoyed the tour they gave me, it wasn't boring at all. I got to see other people working and what their jobs entailed. I liked seeing what was being done and what I'd be getting into with this role.
- Were you interested in working with them?
Data Analyst
First, I had a phone interview with Remedy that was alright. The recruiter mostly asked me why I applied for the job. Then, she sent my resume to the actual company's hiring manager. I then had a virtual interview with that hiring manager. After that, the recruiter said she'd follow up, but I never heard back. Oh, and when I interviewed with the manager, I learned the job title was different than what Remedy advertised, which was unexpected.
- What makes you want to apply for this role?
Warehouse Inventory
So basically the interview had this "canned" questionnaire about honesty, coworker interactions, anger management, tardiness, etc. Then there was a quick chat about my past jobs. They didn't really go deep into the company or the job itself. What I didn't know was that Intelligent Staffing had a contract with the company I was supposed to work for and they knew about the actual length of the assignment and the hours of overtime. Turns out, those were way exaggerated. I was promised tons of overtime, like over $1000 a week. They said I'd work 6am to 6:30 pm on Sat, Sun, and Mon. first, and then 6 days a week from 6pm to 6:30am during "peak season". They also said no night differential and working Thanksgiving without holiday pay. But I ended up getting way less overtime, the assignment was shorter than expected, and the regular hours and overtime were also less than promised.
- What's the most crucial trait a supervisor should possess, in your opinion?
Customer Service Specialist
First, you gotta fill out an application and wait for them to check it. If you match any of their clients' open spots, they'll give you a call for an interview. The interview part is quick when you get there. They put you at a table, which is kinda weird 'cause others can hear you, but it's also chill since it's not a closed door. Sometimes that makes things more pressuring. They ask about your abilities and if you'd wanna do certain jobs. If you say yes, they'll tell you the time, date, place, and number to call for where to go.
- Was I comfortable with the job and its location?
- How did I feel about the role and where it was situated?
