I would suggest you don't waste your time talking with this company based on my interview experience. The high number of negative reviews about the CEO's leadership are in line and very apparent when talking to him as he is curt and belittling. The Relocity One app is so-so quality (go read the iOS and Android store reviews on clunky user experience and the higher user ratings are solely about their hospitality host personnel service) and long established RMCs in their industry have the ability to block them from stealing their customers with a more user friendly device-agnostic product.

First, there was a 15-minute HR phone call to go over the role and your experience. Then, you had a take-home study case due in 24 hours where they send you a case where an executive with a family is moving to Dublin with X company and they want you to tailor a map with suggestions for neighborhoods areas, schools, leisure activites based on their profile. After that, a 30-45 minute interview with the Operation Area Manager (your direct boss) to discuss your experience and behavioral questions like telling about a time you had a difficult client. Then, a 30-minute interview with the Director of Operations for EMEA, mostly about yourself and your experience, with an opportunity to ask more questions about the role. Finally, a 15-minute interview with the COO, not too different from the previous one, but I think it was more about assessing your startup mindset.

Behavioral Technical Other

The hiring process involved 3 interviews and then a final copy test. The copy test required creating assets related to their current situation, as they were pivoting due to COVID. I was told they wanted to hire quickly, and everything was completed within about 2 weeks, which made me feel like they liked me. I was a bit concerned the copy test felt like free work they could use, but I did it anyway. They responded quickly to inform me they were hiring someone else. There was a lot of talk about 'startup' culture, but talking to three different people, it seemed more disorganized than anything. They also seemed unsure about their branding direction, so the exciting-sounding role might be masking deeper issues. They apparently have daily 10-15 minute check-in meetings.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process involved 2 online interviews. The first was an introduction to Relocity, discussing your experiences and how they apply to the Relocation Consultant role, as well as expectations for time commitment and pay. Afterwards, you were given an assignment to help a family relocate to your home country, suggesting accommodations, schools, and activities. The second interview, with a different interviewer, focused more on scenario questions and included a presentation of your assignment. The first interview was great with clear expectations, but the second lacked enthusiasm, and the interviewer had technical difficulties. Interviews were scheduled quickly with flexible timings, and updates were prompt, including the rejection letter.
