Application Support Analyst
I had an interview with the recruiter for general questions, then a video call with two technical people and an online technical test which was time-pressured. The job requirements changed during the process - German skills went from being a plus to mandatory fluent German, which I felt was unfair and a waste of my time.
- Can you describe a challenging or emergency incident you've faced?
Application Support Analyst
It started with a screening call with Talent Acquisition, which was about 30 minutes. Then, I had a call with the team leader that lasted around an hour. The final part was a Technical Interview. This interview involved some practical tasks related to data quality, specifically drawing an ER diagram and answering questions about a dataset. I had one hour to complete this part.
- Can you analyze this dataset?
- Please draw an ER diagram.
Application Support Analyst
It was a bad experience with the recruiter, lots of uncertainty and negativity. The interview itself was okay, though the German language requirement wasn't mentioned beforehand. The offer is still active, and I'm not even sure if this is a real recruitment process.
- Can you tell me about your SQL knowledge?
- What is your experience with Active Directory (AD)?
- Do you have experience with Windows Server?
