The interviews were pretty easy and friendly. The main downside was the lack of communication from the recruiting team. I made it to the final interview and then got ghosted for two weeks before receiving an automated rejection. As an intern, you're not safe from this kind of thing.

First I talked to the recruiter, then I had a 45 minute chat with the hiring manager. They asked me standard PM questions and about my past work. Since the job was a bit technical, they asked me about scaling compute architecture. After that, I had 3 chats with the team to check for culture fit and learn more about my experience. They wanted to know my approach to implementing compute architecture features. Finally, I had a round with the Director of Product, with questions about my background and general PM stuff.

Got a response from the recruiter about my application and they suggested a time. I suggested a different time but didn't hear back. They called me 20 minutes after my suggested time anyway. The interview was short and they asked pretty basic questions. Basic enough that it was funny they asked them of someone who has managed products for global companies. They said they would follow up, but they never did. Honestly, I wasn't interested anymore because of the vibe of the interview. I was interviewing elsewhere and have already started a new job.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Were you responsible for managing a product's lifecycle?
