Applied online through Workday, which had the same job description as LinkedIn. Had 3 interviews in total, 1 with each team member. The first ones were over the phone and then I came in to meet the team.

I interviewed for about 8 hours total over a 4-month period. It was a mix of in-person and Zoom interviews, and I even met some of the same people more than once. They never really clarified what specific role I'd be fitting into, even though they said they had multiple openings. It was tough to ask informed questions because the role itself was unclear. I had to take time off work since they couldn't do early mornings or late afternoons. In the end, I was ghosted for weeks after the final interview, and then HR sent the usual 'we liked you but chose someone else, we'll keep you in mind' message.

I had an initial phone screen with HR. Before that, the recruiter pre-interviewed me by email and phone. The position is new, and Related Group seemed unsure about what they were looking for (whether to hire third-party developers or new internal staff), which is why the role has been open for over six months. The interviewer couldn't provide any technical details about the job. Honestly, it felt like a waste of my time.

First, I had an HR call with someone from their main office. It was mostly questions about whether I'd be a good fit and why I want to work there. They asked about my interests in real estate development and how I could contribute.
