First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Reinhausen GmbH.
Production Manager
I was contacted by multiple recruiters for the same role, and I went with the first one. Even though I was employed by a competitor, I was interested in shifting my focus to a specific product line. I liked the company and their work, but I couldn't get much info about the role. The recruiter set up an interview before I could ask questions, which I found odd since normally recruiters discuss the role first with employed candidates. The first interview with product executives went well, but I didn't have much time to ask questions. I told the recruiter I needed answers before continuing. They said I was the top candidate, so I didn't want to waste time if it wasn't a fit. They promised a short get-to-know-you interview, but then we got busy. Later, the recruiter sent an assignment. I told them I wouldn't do it without more clarity on my questions. The recruiter stopped communicating, not even a thank you. It was rude to contact someone from a competitor, not explain the role, avoid questions, and then not thank them. Good recruiters sell the role when poaching. It's a shame because the team seemed nice and the company cool. Another recruiter contacted me for the same role afterward, suggesting they restarted the process.

Project Manager
We started with some small talk about your journey here and the weather. Then we discussed your previous experience in the field. After that, we talked about how you envision the role and asked some questions about the position itself. We also covered your salary expectations, your classification, and your experience abroad as well as your general willingness to travel.
- Could you describe your previous roles and responsibilities?
- What are your salary expectations?
- What experience do you have with CAD systems?
Sales Manager
Unpleasant discussion, two managers and HR all at once. Unclear on how results are measured, career development, and onboarding. There's a lack of clear vision from upper management about future direction, sales strategy, or new business.
- Are there specific technical questions that are not relevant to sales activities?
Transformer Maintenance Technician
Applied through Catho. First, an interview with the recruiting agency, they didn't tell me the company name. Two months later, an interview with the company manager, you find out the company name, but you still don't know the salary and benefits. Both interviews were by video call. This is a very specific role for working on transformer tap changers, whoever has experience with assembling power transformers will probably get the job.
- What were your previous job activities?
- What experience do you have with power transformer maintenance?
- What experience do you have with power transformer assembly?
