First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Reinhart Foodservice.
Deployment Team Analyst
I applied online and then got a call from HR. The HR call was scheduled for 10 days later because of New Year's holidays. I passed the first phone screen and the HR set up my next interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager seemed to have already decided not to hire me. He was rude and not friendly at all. He asked only 3-4 general questions not related to the job, as if he just had to complete a formality. My resume was a perfect match for the job description, yet he said he couldn't see any connection between me and the job. The job involved 95% travel, and he got irritated when I asked questions about it.

- Are you willing to travel for this position?
Sales Representative
I met with the corporate sales manager at a hotel. He didn't seem very interested in me, so I didn't think I'd hear back. But I did, and I wasn't sure if I wanted the job. Then I interviewed with the regional boss, who was really cool and seemed like someone I could work for. They called me later, and after some negotiation, we agreed on a starting salary. After that, I had to go to a local clinic for a drug test. Finally, I went to the main office for paperwork and training.
- They role-played with me, acting as an upset customer, and asked how I would handle the situation.
Engineering Assistant
I started with a phone call that lasted about 25 minutes, with both the hiring manager and the Engineering manager on the line. About a week later, I got an email for a face-to-face interview at the Stayner plant, where I had another round of questions with both of them.
- In what situations have you applied your knowledge practically?
- Describe how you would collaborate with your team members.
Software Developer
The interview was set up through handshake. We met on campus at career services for the interview. The interviewers were very disrespectful, laughing when they said they would contact me. They didn't have enough respect to call to say I didn't get the job. Don't waste your time working here.
