The interview process involved a panel of 4 people (1 from HR, 3 from Quality Management) and the applicant. It started with a brief introduction round, then dove deeper into the applicant's CV. They asked about the motivation for wanting to join QM. Following that, the job was described, and its place within the 'Rehau' system was explained. Finally, there was some general small talk, a question about willingness to relocate, and salary expectations.

Behavioral Case Presentation

First up was a phone call with the recruiter where I had to answer 5 written questions. Then, an online interview with the hiring manager followed, which involved preparing a case study. After that, there was an Experience Day at the office, complete with various interviews, cases, and a presentation of pre-work I had done. Finally, I interviewed with the management team.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The whole process felt really professional and organized. It kicked off with HR giving a nice welcome and then explaining REHAU’s values, how they operate, and their focus on innovation. The panel, made up of team leads and managers, asked me a bunch of questions. They wanted to know about my studies, particularly in operations management and information systems, my grasp of lean manufacturing and supply chain, and how I'd tackle plant issues like production slowdowns or quality control problems. They also asked about my interest in technology and getting better all the time, and how I manage my time, stay organized, and deal with stress. I got asked behavioral questions too, about solving problems, working with others, and how I fit with REHAU’s dedication to quality and being sustainable. It was cool how much they cared about new ideas and working together. They seem like a company that really values being efficient and helping employees grow. It was tough but fair, and I left feeling more stoked about manufacturing and REHAU's goals.

It was very basic. They asked about past employers and work experience. They wanted to know the dates and times I can work, if I can work overtime or any shift, and if I can work 12-hour shifts. They mentioned steel toe shoes and safety glasses are required. Overtime is required, not asked about, and weekends will always be worked. They emphasized that life is this job and they don't care about your home or family life.
