I talked to a bunch of nurse managers together in a panel. We talked about my past work, what I can do, and my career plans. I also got to ask them stuff about how they work together and the vibe of the team. Every nurse manager asked me one question and then told me about their own experiences when I asked them questions.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I spoke with HR first, then had a meeting with the Manager, my direct supervisor, and a senior research coordinator. They all had different personalities, making it a flexible and encouraging vibe. About 3 days later, I had a second interview with a second supervisor I'd be working with directly. The process was professional, smooth, and easy to follow once I got past the initial HR contact, though that part took a couple of weeks.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you tell me about your background?
  • How would you describe yourself when you first walk into a crowded room?

Applied online and got a confirmation. HR called a couple of days later to set up an interview and asked about salary expectations. They sent an email to confirm the interview details. The interview was scheduled for an hour but ended early. It was one interview with the Department Supervisor and Manager. The people I interacted with, from HR to the interviewers, were great. The work culture is open to new ideas and friendly, with a lot of optimism. Management is supportive and excited about new hires. The team has a mix of long-term and new employees, including in management. Teamwork and communication are really important.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Basic questions were asked, not 'hard' ones.
  • The questions were aimed at understanding your thought process and how you handle problem-solving and teamwork.
  • I suggest really showcasing your personality and how your past experiences align with the team's needs.
