Submitted resume online, then a recruiter contacted me to set up an interview. The hiring manager was 20 minutes late for the call and asked a lot of questions that didn't match the job I applied for. It wasn't a great experience.

The interview had two stages, including a virtual onsite. First, there was an hour-long phone chat with the hiring manager where we talked about my resume and the job specifics. Then, a 5-hour virtual onsite with three SVPs and two quantitative analysts happened. It felt like a discussion, covering Python programming and basic stats questions like multicollinearity. It seemed to go well, but I didn't get the offer because I couldn't start right away.

So I applied internally and got a rejection email, which was weird since I knew I had the qualifications. I messaged HR and they apologized and set up a phone interview with the hiring manager for that same day. A couple of weeks after that, I had a half-day in-person interview. It was a mix of behavioral and technical questions. The hiring team was great, but HR was awful to deal with.
