Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Regions Financial.
Bank Teller
The interviewer was on time and asked me questions about my goals and past experience. We also discussed the onboarding and training process. They asked what my expectations were for the job. The interviewer was nice and the chat lasted about 30-45 minutes. I didn't leave feeling too optimistic though. The employees there all seemed pretty young.
- What are your career goals and what do you expect from this role?
Financial Analyst
The whole process was kind of a drag. I had to wait around 2 months just to get an interview. After it was all done, the recruiter ghosted me and stopped responding, which was annoying. The questions they asked were mostly behavioral, but they threw in some technical stuff too.
- Can you describe how you foster relationships with your colleagues?
Financial Analyst
This was a pretty standard interview process for an investment banking role in the Charlotte area. I'd recommend looking up common investment banking questions and preparing to discuss the company and the specific group in depth.
- Can you explain the relationship between the three main financial statements?
