First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Regional News Network.
Assignment Desk Editor
The interview process moved pretty fast. It started with a phone call, then there was a one-on-one in-person interview with some news team folks. They also give you a written test, but it seemed like it wasn't a big deal for the final decision.
- Can you tell me about your knowledge of local news?
Editor
I went to the office and met the interviewer. They went over my resume and asked me some common behavioral questions and about my technical skills. Then, they showed me around the facility and I got to see the team I would be joining.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
Traffic Coordinator
I applied three times, first for reporter, then editor, and finally for Traffic Coordinator. The HR Manager reached out for a phone chat and then I came in for an in-person meeting.
- Can you share details about your past work experiences?
- In what ways can your previous experiences help the department to grow?
Videographer
Found the role via LinkedIn EasyApply, and after sending in more info, I got a call for an interview. Went in for one in-person interview and then got the offer, with a week to decide.
- What's the key to filming something engaging?
