Supervisor
I interviewed for a supervisor role and went through three rounds: a phone screen with the recruiter, two video interviews (one with the recruiter, one with the hiring manager), and finally received an offer. During the initial recruiter call, they asked about my salary expectations, and I gave them my range. They said it was fine at the time. Later, I got the offer, but it was over $15K less than the lowest figure I had mentioned. When they told me they couldn't meet even the bottom of my range, I had to turn it down. I noticed through the sunshine list that other supervisors with less experience were making within my desired range, so I felt my request was pretty reasonable. It would have been a lot more efficient if they'd just addressed the salary issue in that first interview when they asked about it. Other than the salary surprise, the rest of the interview process was pretty standard.
- Lots of behavioural questions were asked
