First there was a screening call, then a virtual interview via Teams. The interview was focused on how to handle conversations since the job is mostly talking to prospects/applicants, and a couple of smaller questions about using systems.

So the application process for Regent University is pretty standard. You apply online, then they'll usually give you a quick call or video chat to screen you. After that, there's a more formal interview where they really dig into your accuracy with admin stuff, how you handle confidential info, your data entry skills, and if you've used student record systems before.

Behavioral Presentation

It was a two-stage process, starting with a phone screen and then an in-person panel interview. They were upfront and personable, clearly explaining the position and expectations. I actually applied in 2014, but they reached out in 2015. They communicated clear objectives for the role and showed how they promote from within, emphasizing the department's consistency with all panel members having at least 10 years at RU. I decided not to proceed because I didn't feel I'd be a good fit for the organization. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Tell me about a time you had a disagreement with a coworker, whether a superior, peer, or direct report, and how you resolved it.
  • How can you adapt your customer service experience to fit our requirements?
