First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Regency Theatres.
Cashier
It was a quick and easy interview. They asked basic questions about my availability and school schedule, my strong points and weak points. They also asked if I had experience handling money, if I have a high school diploma, and about tattoos.
- What is your availability and schedule?
- What are your strong points?
Floor Staff
I applied online through a pretty vague application, not really expecting anything, and then about five weeks later, the manager called me asking if I could come in for an interview. They asked a few basic questions over the phone first. The interview itself was only about 15 minutes long. It was my first job interview so I was nervous, but the manager was nice. I didn't get an offer because there were more people interviewing that day.
- Can you explain what teamwork means to you?
Usher/Concessions
It was a pretty simple interview process. I was in a group interview with 3 other people. They also had us read a paper with a movie tittle to see how we would greet customers.
- Can you tell me about your weaknesses?
- What is your favorite movie and what makes it your favorite?
- Are you a team player?
Floor Staff
I arrived 10 minutes early and accidentally interrupted the manager's lunch break. The interview itself was quite direct and only lasted about 20 minutes. If you end up getting an offer, there's a math quiz you have to take at the very end.
- Tell me about your favorite movie.
