First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Reeds Jewelers.
Merchandiser
It was pretty easy, they didn't seem super prepared. Involved a few calls, some over Zoom and some in person. Spoke with HR and the manager. It was a bit of a mess trying to get info from them, but overall it was a straightforward process even though it took longer than expected.
- Can you tell me about your background?
- Tell me about a time you faced a challenging situation.
Business Application Support Technician
Applied online. Got an email in less than a week to set up a phone screen/interview. Talked with the manager of the team. Had an in-person interview with the manager of Helpdesk and IT Planning. Met with the Helpdesk team. Heard back about a week later.
- How would you handle a challenging client?
E-Commerce Associate
I interviewed with the manager and the head of the department. They were both really welcoming, and the questions were pretty standard. They also gave me a quick tour of the department. The interviews were fairly short.
- Can you tell me about your customer service experience?
- Describe a time you went above and beyond for a customer.
Sales Associate
You go to the store dressed professionally and sit down with the manager or assistant manager. They'll explain what the job entails and ask you how you'd handle different scenarios. You'll have the chance to ask them questions, and they'll explain how you'll manage credit and closing transactions.
- Tell me about your sales background.
